Robin Jenkins :

[Page Under Construction]

At the same time as Dowding was conducting the Battle of Britain, a young evacuee from London was living in Moffat. Robin Jenkins later became an author, his book 'Guests of War' being set in Moffat and telling of his experiences.

Jenkins tells the story from an evacuee's standpoint, whilst Mora Dickson tells in her 'Nannie' book, the tale from the standpoint of a Moffatonian. The two viewpoints are of equal importance to a study of the town in World War II.

He published at least twenty three books, of which about half are for children.

Further information is being gathered on Robin Jenkins and will be uplifted once ready.
