Visiting the Museum :

Unfortunately it has been impossible to obtain pictures of the Museum collection as visitors are unable to take pictures within the building without official permission. This page of the website has to restrict pictures to the Neo-classical exterior of the building and to an interesting object that may be part of either a column base or an olive-press, standing outside amongst less-identifiable stonework.

The Poros 2006 blog was aimed at cheapness so the writer did not visit many sites that charged admission. Poros Museum was visited in September 2007 and would be worth a second future visit. The modest 2 Euro fee per head is well worth the payment, but it helps to understand what you will see. Visitors are advised to read this page of the Poros History site beforehand.
