Located on the Southern Upland Way, it is a perfect holiday centre for walking and cycling enthusiasts and an ideal base for couples or small families exploring the surrounding parts of Dumfries and Galloway and the Borders region. The area is famous for its splendid scenery, woodlands and sandy beaches.
