Welcome to Rockhill...
Built in 1863, Rockhill is a large comfortable Victorian house overlooking
the local bowling green, tennis courts and Hope-Johnstone Park, one
of two parks in Moffat. This friendly and well-established guesthouse
is located in a quiet residential avenue and looks out upon the beautiful
countryside of the Moffat valley. The amenities of the lovely town
of Moffat and its shopping centre are no more than 5 minutes'
walk from Rockhill. Beautiful floral displays in Spring and particularly
in Summer are well known features of the house.
The garden has been entered several times in the Best Kept Commercial
Garden in Moffat, winning Third Prize in 2005 and Second Prize in
2008.

Single, double/twin and family rooms are all available, all having en-suite shower and
toilet facilities or private bathroom, all having colour TV, electric kettle, coffee and tea making facilities.
Group bookings can be catered for - enquire about special rates. There are two ground-floor
rooms available for guests with disabilities. There is a comfortable guest lounge with a
log fire. We offer good home cooking and a warm welcome is extended to all.
Rockhill is ideally situated for touring, walking, fishing, golf, birdwatching and for
excellent cycling country.
