Reid, Betty (Elizabeth) : Factory worker (?). Featured as one of the 'Ladies of Pekin' in the 'Aladdin' pantomime. Source : 'Explosive News' newssheet in Dalbeattie Museum.

Reid, Mr. : Cashier based at the Factory offices outside Edingham. Notified by Elizabeth Lunnie.

Reiddick, Nurse : Shift nurse. Notified by Elizabeth Robertson.

Rider, Nancy : Blending and Packing worker known to Jean Burnie.

Riddick, Elinor : Worked in Southwick (Unit 1). Notified by Elizabeth Robertson.

Riddick, Jessie Mrs. (re-married : Hyslop) : Factory worker. Widow who travelled in during 1942 - 1943 from Bridge of Dee railway station. Three sons aged 6, 7 and 8 in 1942. She died November 1993 aged 85, buried Castle Douglas cemetery. Notified by niece, Barbara Hyslop.

Robson, Flora : Blending and Packing worker known to Jean Burnie. Lived in Southwick.

Roberts, Rachel : Blending and Packing worker known to Jean Burnie. Lived in Southwick. In photo with other staff. Also known to Elizabeth Robertson.

Robertson, Cathie (Catherine) : Forewoman in Edingham (Unit 2). Notified by Elizabeth Robertson (MacIntyre).

Robertson, Elizabeth (married : McIntyre) : Blending and Packing worker in Maidenholm (Sheds 6 and 8) then later a Forewoman in the Blending and Packing at Unit 2 Edingham. Check in Number 6519. Referred to as Elizabeth Robertson in her 73 notifications of other staff.

Robertson, Jean : Worker in Guncotton Unloading Stations at Southwick and Edingham. Eldest of the Robertson sisters. Born 1919. Notified by sister Katherine Mounsey.

Robertson, Katherine Simpson (married Mounsey) : Very unusual - began in Weights and Measures, later was an Incorporation House worker, tested Cordite and Nitroglycerine in the Labs, then in Packing and Blending was a bogie 'runner' and also did some time in the Press Houses. Born 1923. Contacted writer. A key source for information on life at the factory. Also see Robertson, Cathie.
