How to find us :
Low Kirkbride is in South West Scotland, 45 miles north-west of Carlisle and 10 miles
north of Dumfries, 3 miles from Auldgirth and 2 miles from Dunscore.
When approaching from the south take the A75 Dumfries Bypass, turning north onto the A76
towards Kilmarnock and Thornhill. After approximately 2 miles, turn left after Newbridge
onto the B729 and proceed the 6 miles to Dunscore. Go through Dunscore and just after the
de-restriction signs there is a crossroads. Take the minor road to the right and follow it for
about 1½ miles past a ruined tower at Lagg, then take the first turning left (north) at
the the triangle of grass. Low Kirkbride is the first farm on the left, about half a mile from
the junction. Print off the Map as a further
